This policy covers wsapath.com, the website for PATH. The site is run by Web Site Advantage Inc., operating as WSA Solutions, of 14 Kinlock Rd., Unit 12, Stratford, PE C1B 1R1, Canada. We follow Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA). It explains what we collect when you visit the site, why, and the choices you have.
This policy is about the public website only. Data our customers store in the PATH software is covered by their agreement with us.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you use the contact form, we get your name, company, email, phone number (if given) and your message. If you book a call, Microsoft Bookings collects the details you enter there.
- How you use the site. Like most websites, our hosting and advertising tools record basic technical details, such as your IP address, browser, device, the pages you view and the site that sent you here.
- Cookies and similar tools. We use Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These place cookies or similar code in your browser so we can see which ads lead to visits and inquiries, and so we can show PATH ads to people who have visited this site before.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and follow up on your inquiry.
- To understand which ads and pages work, and improve the site.
- To show PATH ads on Google and on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited the site.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We don't sell your information. We don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We use a few service providers to run the site. They handle information for us under their own privacy terms:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and delivers contact form messages to our office email.
- Google (Google Ads and Google Fonts) and Meta (the Meta Pixel) receive visit information as described above.
- Microsoft runs our email and the booking page.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
- You can manage how Google uses your information for ads at adssettings.google.com.
- You can manage ads based on your activity on other websites in your Facebook or Instagram settings under Ad preferences, or at facebook.com/adpreferences.
- Industry opt-out tools are available at youradchoices.ca.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages and related emails as long as we need them to deal with your inquiry and keep normal business records. Advertising providers keep visit data according to their own policies.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to us using it. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
